"THIS MEANS WAR" - Bugs Bunny

I grew up watching Bugs Bunny, and he often connected in a friendly manner with Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, greeting them with a very welcome, "What's up doc?" However, without fail, one of his new acquaintances would pick a fight or try to eat him, and after exercising some patience, he would proclaim, "Of course you realize, this means war!" After that, it was game on and no opponent was a match for the wits of Bugs Bunny.

Paul closes out his letter to the church in Ephesus, making the same sort of proclamation. He focused their attention, making sure they were directing efforts toward the right enemy. In addition, Paul wanted the early followers of Jesus to know that they had His authority and were well equipped for battle.

Those same truths concerning spiritual battle are true of us today. What kind of attack does the enemy try on you and your family? How do you respond when you face spiritual attack?  Do you turn to a physical solution to a spiritual problem? How do you know the difference?
