Have you ever been caught in a lie or in some other situation that caused you to feel shame? How did you respond? Do we take ownership for our own shortcomings or find other people or circumstances to blame? Part of doing life together requires the ability to be authentic about who we truly are: strengths and weaknesses included. How many people do you allow to know you fully?

Ephesians 4:25 says, "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." What does it mean to be "in this together?" It requires honesty and the ability to encourage each other toward our goals and our life purpose, especially when we make mistakes and lose our way. God has great plans for us as individuals and as a church.  We were not meant to reach them on our own. Let's seek God for direction and follow His lead together.
