UNITED IN PURPOSE

How well do you agree with those you work with? How about with those in your family? When we cannot agree in purpose with those we do life with, the conflicted direction can impact the outcome. Imagine horses running together without blinders to obscure their peripheral vision and strong leather reigns to hold them close. Horses would attempt to pull the cart in different directions with dangerous results!

When Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus, he urg...ed those following Jesus to work together. "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:3) He understood that if the church was to make an impact on the culture, it was imperative for those on the team to advance the ball down the field in the same direction, working together in peace.

What purpose has God called Bridge Community Church to? How are we doing when it comes to living in "the unity of the Spirit?" This imperative is equally important for us in 2016.
