This past Sunday, we were reminded by Paul to not simply take the world at face value. While we have a tendency to focus on the physical realm, their is a battle raging in the spiritual arena. Not all trials we face are a matter of circumstance. How do we prepare for spiritual battle and how has God equipped us?  I hope that considering these reminders from Ephesians chapter 6, we are  getting time this week to take up His Word (sword), to walk in right relationship with God daily (breastplate), to walk in close relationship with others (shoes), to be reminded of the cost of our salvation (helmet), and to advance in faith (shield).

As we take a look at the closing verses of Ephesians, Paul reminds us that we are not alone and that we should be advancing together. What does this look like practically speaking?
